Image
My Name is Jack Walton I am Glasgow based and work in Tenancy support service. I have created this blog as part of the Scottish Social Services(SSSC) 23 things digital program and also to have some fun. I had always thought a blog would be confusing to set up and run but now having a try at it, it really is not and is actually fun. I am an adventurous person and enjoy urban exploring or spending time with my pooch Boss I am also a huge food fanatic and football fan throughout this blog I will be sharing my adventures.

Open Badges- SSSC

The Scottish Social Services Council runs an Open badge program in which members and sometimes non-members of the SSSC can apply for Badges to prove they have completed training related to the badge or get training for the badge. This is a great method for personal and development because not only does it require you to have done training it requires you to show your understanding of the training that was completed so these badges allow for people to show what they learned from the training and allows them to build a portfolio of badges in order to share the progress that they are making and show others.

As I had not been for a while I was looking forward to this trip so we went and picked Boss up and put his blanket down for him in the back seat and off we went.   Luckily it was quiet on the roads so we were not expecting a long journey so we made a quick stop at the local petrol station and filled the tank up and picked up some crisps and juice. I sat in the back with Boss as he is not a huge fan of cars and we drove through the motorway in no time and the beautiful scenery had started with the beautiful views fro
